I hesitated posting this but I went through a breakup a few weeks ago and been grieving since. I didn’t know I was capable of feeling the feelings I have been. One second I’m bawling in the car alone and the next I’m belly laughing with a friend that’s picking me up off the floor. And then the cycle repeats itself. Baby Madi is screaming for love and support, to feel seen, because after all, that’s love at its core. We have to be able to give ourselves these things before finding it in someone else. What’s interesting and something that’s my biggest takeaway so far is that a breakup is never about the other person, but rather a breakup from the person you were during the relationship. It forces a mirror in front of your face and asks you who you were while together and what did you like about who you showed up as vs what you need to heal. You attract what you are and what you think you’re worthy of. And then you take the pieces that were positive with you while simultaneously being forced to evolve which is so incredibly painful yet extremely courageous and beautiful. I’m just at the beginning stages of all of this but I feel like my heart is being torn out of my chest to be shaped by God before he puts it back in me one day as a stronger, even better version of myself. Just know that even having the capability to fully love someone, risking at all moments to potentially lose yourself in the process while laying yourself out on a table, is one of the most fearless things we can do as humans and one day it’ll be worth all of the potential pain and confusion ❤️ you’re not alone. Find someone that grows flowers in the darkest parts of you P.S- lean on your friends and family if you can. they’ll fill you up with love until you can for yourself #breakups #heartbreak

Resolutions for me when it comes to health focus on the physical but this year it’s far more about being extremely intentional about the people in my life. Who makes me better? When shit hits the fan who picks me up off the floor? who do I spend time with out of boredom, people pleasing, or some ulterior motive? Who makes me feel seen? If we have a circle around us that’s strong, we’re setting ourselves up for support and success. Go where you feel loved 🥀
