Mindless movements that actually give you an ab! I don’t have a gym membership, I just have ADHD squirrel brain and can’t sit still. So why not be semi productive when you’re picking what to watch, walking from the couch to the kitchen, waiting for something to upload, heading to the fridge from the other room, or finally closing the laptop and letting yourself take a long awaited potty break? (Is that last one just me and is it unhealthy-) As non-workout as these moves may look, they hold my baby abs in place, keep my arms receiving compliments on their toned-ness, my booty cheeks SLIGHTLY lifted, bring my shoulders down and spine straight… Moving your body literally turns your brain back on. Attention, memory, focus — all of it improves after even a few minutes of movement. That’s not woo-woo, that’s science (I fact-checked this). This is my first time living in a house, aka ground level. Everywhere I've lived since becoming an 18-year-old adult until now has been an apartment that had a gym. In that gym I'd go for even five minutes a day and loosely flail my body around. I didn't know how much it was actually doing for me until moving to the house. Let's just say I became a Haley version of the Hunchback of Notre Dame. I had bad posture, was literally tripping over nothing. Couldn't scrappily do projects or hold poses because I became weak!!
