Second do you love it? Third, will this fit into your lifestyle? In that order deliberately. It may seem that everyone is tightening their belts when it comes to spending and consumption for 2024 - I am too. But this is a reminder to make space for whatever will bring you small happiness and joy. We believe in little treats, and as long as your treat will not be detrimental to your goals or responsibilities tbh I say go for it. READY THE PITCHFORKS! ⚔️ I made a detailed and nuanced video about why the Hermes game- is not for me! I don’t like that we are all *expected* to covet after this one brand, and this handful of bags. To me there’s nothing interesting in having the same things as everyone else To put it simply, there is too much baggage for the coveted 🍊 bags to be an enjoyable pursuit…so this is where I respectfully tap out! No Birkins, Kellys, or Constance in my future - and that’s ok. One of my favorite questions I asked in the video was “if your collection is supposed to gradually bring you up to one point, what happens once you get there?” If you love them, I love them for you.
